Portable exports

The browser does the storing.
Notes are stored in IndexedDB on the current device. LumeNotes does not need a backend to create, edit, organize or export your notes.
Clearing browser site data, using private browsing or changing devices can remove access to local notes. Create JSON backups regularly.
The complete LumeNotes 2.0.2 package is public.
The release is a static web app with no required database. Host it on a normal web server or run it locally through a development server.
SPDX-License-Identifier: AGPL-3.0-onlyBefore you start.
Are notes sent to a server?
No. The current version stores notes in the browser and performs its core operations locally.
Does it sync between devices?
Not yet. Version 2.0.2 is deliberately local-first. Use JSON backups to move notes between devices.
Which formats can I use?
You can import TXT, Markdown and LumeNotes JSON, and export TXT, Markdown, HTML, JSON or PDF.
