A practical PDF workspace

Common PDF tasks in one local-first application.

LumePDF focuses on useful operations that can run in the browser, with clear limits when a feature cannot preserve every advanced PDF structure.

Merge and organize

Combine files, reorder pages, rotate, duplicate, remove and add blank pages.

Split and extract

Export ranges, selected pages or groups as separate PDF files.

PDF and images

Create PDFs from images or export PDF pages to PNG and JPG.

Watermarks and numbering

Add text watermarks, page numbers and document metadata.

Fill and sign visually

Fill supported form fields and place text or a visual signature image on a document.

Crop and compress

Adjust visible page margins and reduce the size of image-heavy documents.

The website delivers the app. Your document work happens in the browser.

LumePDF reads the files selected on your device and performs supported operations in the browser. Closing or refreshing the page removes open files from the application memory.

LumePDF FAQ

Know what local PDF processing can and cannot do.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

LumePDF is designed to process selected documents in the browser. The LumeOS website does not receive their contents.

Is the visual signature a certificate-based digital signature?

No. It places a visual image or text on the PDF. Certificate-based signing requires a separate cryptographic workflow.

Will every complex PDF remain identical?

Basic organization normally preserves the original pages. Compression, form flattening and some conversions can change searchable text, links, forms, layers or signatures.
